Why Bermuda leads

The world's #1 reinsurance jurisdiction, with over $1 trillion in global reinsurance capacity, 600+ active captives, and more than 90% of the world's catastrophe bonds domiciled here. This is where the market is built and where the expertise lives.

BMA regulation

Rigorous but pragmatic, and internationally respected. Bermuda is Solvency II equivalent and IAIS FSAP assessed. This is not a light-touch offshore jurisdiction — it is a real regulator that institutional counterparties and auditors take seriously.

Tax & currency

USD-denominated, with a stable legal system built on English common law. Bermuda introduced a 15% Corporate Income Tax in 2025 in line with the OECD global minimum — but it applies only to multinationals with €750M+ in consolidated revenue. Most captives, SAC cells and mid-market structures fall entirely outside its scope.

SAC legislation

Unique to Bermuda: legally ring-fenced cells where the assets of one cell cannot be reached by the creditors of another. There is no equivalent structure anywhere else in the world — and it is the foundation of how we build flexible, protected risk vehicles.
